Reno Light Box

The Arts and Culture department of Reno, Nevada put a call out for artists and creatives to submit proposals for their yearly signal box public art project. It was a pleasure to paint this colourful lettering gem in an area that had been lacking colour. The 4th street district has an industrial atmosphere which is why it was so amazing to add a bit of light through my art. Not long after painting this mural the district has started to lighten up and new successful retail and restaurant businesses have emerged in the area.
